Route 219 is not fun. Lots of sharp curves. Starlink only works on the sites in the 1-30 loop. Cell signal on 65 is great but 62 right next to it is weak....

Very quiet in early May. Needed to level our rig on the paved pad but overall very nice and easy in and out. We camped at Blackwater Falls State Park in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
The Smokehouse restaurant in the park -- we had a terrible dinner there, but a good breakfast. Our BBQ sampler dinners were overcooked - the brisket was like a dry brick, the pulled pork was also dry, and the chicken was black on the outside and like leather on the inside. Our buffet breakfast was quite good, though! In Davis we shopped at WV Highlands...

Are they super strict about how many tents you have on site? They’re rules say you can only have one tent unless there are “family” (parents/guardians and their underaged children) on the site. Has anyone camped with more than one tent or seen more than one tent on a site while visiting?...

Tip for Other Campers:
If coming from the north the route is 68 east to 219 south, to route 32 into the park. Our GPS did us a dirty and put us through Hades as we hit every hill, curve / bend, hairpin West Virginia turn possible....
