It's a nice park, but it's not easy to get to with a big rig. We camped at Wapacoma Campground in a Motorhome.

“Convenient to Potomac Eagle train excursion and town. ”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
Arrive before dark in case office is closed. Hard to find your way through the park. We camped at Wapacoma Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed for two nights over the weekend. Crowded campground, a mix between long term stays and quick trips. One of the few places we have stayed at that allows golf carts, wasnt an issue for us....

Tip for Other Campers:
Secluded except at the park. Romney nearby has about all you would need for dining and shopping. We traveled for one day and got hotel stay in DC area in order to see the memorials. Also make it to Harpers Ferry with the toad. ....
