“Friendly little park on river”
Nightly Rate: $36 USD
We booked online through the RV park website (directed through Rover Pass) and chose a back-in site by the river. When we arrived it seemed a little tight to get into the spot, both width and length....

Tip for Other Campers:
J.C. Penney mother store employees were so informative and friendly - they gave us the history of Mr. Penney and a handout of the history of JCP and the store. The store sells a little of everything, and has a lot of original JCP memorabilia lining the walls; the store is still laid out in its original design - a little slice of Americana and very fun to...
“Good for a night or two”
Nightly Rate: $37 USD
Check in was super easy with a text. They put us in pull thru D3. Asphalt pad with gravel and a small tree. There's a dog walk area along the river with poop bags and many benches. No restrooms or...

Tip for Other Campers:
The Caribou Cafe was close by and had very good food. There's Ridley's grocery downtown. We went to Grumpies several times but it's being sold soon....
Tips from campers about Riverside RV Park
- STEVE W-1 Great walking beaches.4 months ago Old Orchard Beach Campground
- Deborah_643 We traveled a short distance to Portland Maine where we enjoyed viewing the Portland Head Lighthouse and dinner on the water at the Saltwater Grille. We spent an morning in Kennebunkport where we took a trolly tour of the area and tried our first Lobster Roll.4 months ago Old Orchard Beach Campground
- Patrick_543 Had it been a different season, you could tell that it would have been kid friendly [feel our grandchildren would have enjoyed]; definitely should go to the Lober Shack for some fresh lobster. The walk into town isn't bad - but if you have a hard time of walking, it is probably more than 10 minutes and would be difficult to lug stuff to beach even if you were in good shape.4 months ago Paradise Park Resort Campground

“The Owner is ignoring the place ”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
On the positive side- we had the back row in which we could see the little river and there are benches to sit near it. We camped at Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

“Worked Very Well for our Needs”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
We were on a mission to dig fossils at Ulrich's Fossils, so did not spend much time at our site. The campground, as someone else stated well, is no-frills. However it is clean, easy to level in, get...

Tip for Other Campers:
We totally enjoyed our experience digging fossils with Ulrich's Fossils. This was a fully immersive experience, led by enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides. We had great success in finding fossilized fish (with the help of their trained eyes!). They trimmed them down and helped us protect them for transporting home. They also provided information for...

“A no frills campground”
Nightly Rate: $44 USD
No frills, no amenities, no restrooms but great water pressure. Stayed 3 days so we could explore Kemmerer, etc. No grass, all sun, a few small trees between lots, all gravel and an asphalt pad to...

Tip for Other Campers:
Fossil Butte - be sure you drive the loop road up to 8,000'. Narrow and dirt the last 3 mi. But the views are fantastic. Take in the little town of Kemmerer. Visit the first J.C. Penny's store and find all the murals. Get ice cream a few miles away in Diamondville at Arctic Circle. Dig for Fossils at American Fossil....
