Tips from campers about Moorhead, MS
- sunnysidecamper We unhooked the tow car and found a fun local restaurant in their downtown area called Hamiltons on Magnolia and were able to walk around their downtown and see the Auburn University Campus. There are several other restaurants we saw downtown we would like to try on a return trip. We tend to like local restaurants over the chain restaurants and this park and town offer plenty of local. There is a website called www.aotourism.com where lots of local restaurants for this area are listed and my husband already saw there were lots of golf courses Like the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail for this area too for a return trip. For sure unhook youre Towncar and ride up into town its worth it !4 years ago Auburn RV Park and Resort Pools
- BeachCamping The park is right off of I-85 at exit 51 less than 1/10th of a mile off of the exit and there is a new traffic light right at their entrance which is their entrance as well as the Softball complex entrance. It is very easy to access the new Buc-ees super large fueling station less than a mile away by when you exit the park turn right and go down the road to the next light and turn right and it will put you straight into the Buc-ees and you can get back on the interstate there at exit 50. The Brisket at Bucees is amazing. In town we liked a restaurant called Hamiltons for dinner and a very cool place right across from the Auburn University campus called Hey-Day Market that had several different types of places to eat in there and was a fun atmosphere among the students.2 years ago Auburn RV Park and Resort Pools
- want2go Park is off US-29 and directly across from turn to RV park is entrance to Chewacla State Park. The park is a great place to spend the day hiking and just relaxing. During the summer months you can walk down to the waterfall and hang out on the rocks.9 years ago Auburn RV Park and Resort Pools
