Tips from campers about Pass Christian, MS
- Dale Libby 1). Be sure to arrive prior to 3 pm in the afternoon if you are coming in from the west. Highway 98, a four-lane road is a speedway and hectic during the late afternoon. It will be a challenge to get across to the RV park. Give the Desk a call if you arrive early prior to check-in time. They are very accommodating if your site is open. 2). Here is a list of our favorite back-in sites graded on ease of back-in and cut-back landscaping. Sites 13,16,17,20,26,30,34,35. The inner park roads are narrow, it will challenge your backing chops. The sites as mentioned earlier have no light poles, fire hydrates, or other obstacles to impede your turn-in. 3). Some of our favorite restaurants are, Clemenza's At Uptown (Pizza, Italian) and Aegean Restaurant in Shalimar (Greek) for the best fresh caught seafood - Destin Ice Seafood. 4). If Fort Walton Beach is a bit crowded head over to John Besley Park for a nice beach with close parking and a bathhouse.2 years ago Destin West RV Resort
- DeepSeaHMC Beach access, shopping and restaurants are across the main highway.9 months ago Destin West RV Resort
- Susie Jane Need more stop lights because Highway 98 is super busy. Get your toes in the sand and water.7 months ago Destin West RV Resort
