Tips from campers about Santee, SC
- Mark3151 Most sites have electric and water hookups but few if any appear to have sewer. It isn't mentioned on the website so it's easy to overlook. Your water usage is still something to be careful of unless you want to pull out to the dump station mid-stay and then setup all over again depending on the length of time that you plan to be there. Like many State Parks, the useable length of the sites is very sketchy. We pull a 27' TT with an 18' pickup and were concerned that we might have a hard time fitting into some of the sites. Upon arrival we easily fit into both of the sites used during our stay.2 days ago Santee State Park

- BornFreeFamily Bring some treats like baby carrots for the animals. They are super friendly and will come over for head scratches and snacks. They have fresh eggs and allow guests to take a few. You can buy some to go if youd like more. The eggs were so much better than store bought.2 weeks ago OutSide Inn Campground
