Lighthouse bakery, Islanders, The Carriage House! Pirates on the water for a sunset. Wander over to Bayou la Barte for fresh shrimp! Visit the fort. We did not make it across to Fort Morgan- we'll do that next year!

Tips from campers about Pelican Nest RV Resort and Campground
- SinclairTrails Ashland has one of the best dining scenes in the PNW, so be sure to explore some options (Cocorico was our favorite this time). Take in a show at the OSF, even if it's just the Green Show, which is free. The Oregon Cabaret is a fun experience as well. And don't forget to tour the many different wine trails in the area. We're partial to the Applegate Valley and Jacksonville wineries, such as Quady North.6 months ago Emigrant Lake - The Point RV Park
- Joe Daly Ashland, surrounding wineries, Jacksonville and Emigrant Lake all offer lots of things to do and places to eat.8 months ago Emigrant Lake - The Point RV Park
- Keith_491 Great camp site for visiting Ashland. Did see a number of boaters and fishing boats too. Bella Fiore winery is nearby and well worth the visit to their tasting area for wine and a good meal.9 months ago Emigrant Lake - The Point RV Park

Tip for Other Campers:
Take bikes on the ferry over to Fort Morgan. Once there you can bike over to Tacky Jacks for lunch and then have an enjoyable ferry ride back to Daughin. We loved the island! As others have said, stock up on supplies and groceries before arriving.
