“Currently check in for the campground is not onsite, it is at the ITR office approx 1.5 miles away.”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
Laundry was very nice $1.50 wash and $1.00 to dry. They also had an ice machine with free ice! We camped at Maxwell/Gunter AFB FamCamp in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Enter through Kelly street gate, then immediately on the right use the large half circle to turn around like you are going to go back out of the gate but of course do not do that turn right onto March Street which will take you straight to the FamCamp.

Stayed 5 nights in my 37 foot 5th wheel at Site 58. Pull thru, concrete pad, no shade. Level and plenty of room. We camped at Maxwell/Gunter AFB FamCamp in a Fifth Wheel.

Lots to do around the base. Nice Exchange and commissary. ** If you have a dog with longish fur be aware that there are burrs in the grass that get in their feet and fur **

All in all an OK stay. The park is on the far side of the base, check-in is on the other. We stayed in a section of the park with no trees and decent concrete slabs. Power was stable, didn't use water...

“An easy overnight spot on our PCS across country”
Nightly Rate: $35 USD
This is an easy stop over on our way across country. I didn't use the bathrooms or laundry facilities so I can't comment on those. We camped at Maxwell/Gunter AFB FamCamp in a Fifth Wheel.
