“Nice and friendly county park.”

This is a wonderful county park right on Lake Guntersville. The staff are friendly and the sites are plenty long and wide enough for big rigs. The main issue is the number of people renting slots long...

Tip for Other Campers:
KCs barbecue is excellent with good brisket right inside of the park. The Unclaimed Baggage store is also a great shopping spot.
Tips from campers about Jackson County Park
- SNL Diesel available at the Kicks 66 station right next door. We loved Bandelier National Monument, very interesting place. We also did a great hike at Kasha-Kutuwe Tent Rocks National Monument. We also enjoyed strolling the galleries on Canyon Road and the Plaza in downtown Santa Fe. We took a drive to Los Alamos and went to the Manhattan Project National Historic Park and the Bradbury Science Museum. They were both informative and interesting, really great!6 years ago Roadrunner RV Park

This was a fast overnight stay. I stayed in the transient area outside the gate and RV sites proper. The sites were gravel, backed up to a tree line, FHU, and level. The sites down by the lake had...

Tip for Other Campers:
The electric is way in the back and we used almost all of a 35 cord. Places to eat: KCs BBQ, Yoki Buffet, and DONT MISS Warehouse 207! Great food, atmosphere and fresher backed desserts.
