Don't know if it happens a lot but not having to make reservations is so much easier traveling in AK.

This is the place to stay in Chicken, Alaska. Fairly level sites. Electric only. But, there are dump and potable water on site. Has free unlimited hot showers. And the only flush toilets in Chicken....
