Tips from campers about Teklanika River Campground
- xc99tour Old town Glenwood Springs is a must, and the hot springs are soothing and relaxing. Ride the bike path (you can get e-bike rentals in Glenwood Springs). During the summer months you can ride rafts down the river, there is a company at the resort that can provide you any level of rafting you want.6 months ago Glenwood Canyon Resort

Tip for Other Campers:
You can get a TEK pass to ride the bus to differant areas of the park, but they do not allow pets on bus. Also, the rules say you cant leave pets unattended in your Rv, so your only resort if you bring your dog is to walk the areas of the park that vehicles are allowed.So if your like us and dont like to break the rules and leave your pet unattended, TEK...

Tip for Other Campers:
Get the Tek bus pass and do not be afraid to get off the bus and hike when you find an interesting location. We saw much more wildlife when we slowed down to walking speed.

“Great Camping Experience ”
Nightly Rate: $17 USD
We stayed here four nights. Camp hosts Linda and Monty were great. Saw wildlife and scenery- especially Mt. Denali just past Sable Pass. We camped at Teklanika River Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
We did not get the Tek pass, used e-bikes. Getting to East Fork, plan on battery being at 0 when you get back. We went to East Fork one day and Sable Pass two days.
