Juneau has a small Costco & several grocery stores. No Wal Mart. Lots to see & do. Pretty easy to avoid the cruise ship crowds....

Trails in the park are great, there are biking trails near by, the Mendenhall Glacier has nice trails and Downtown Juneau has plenty of shops- stop in at the Red Dog Saloon. The Alaska Marine System (ferry) was a great experience with our 35 foot Motor home and tow car. The arrival/departure times can be challenging....
