Short drive to Hatcher Pass, Musk Ox Farm and Iditarod Headquarters. Great Friday market in Palmer by the visitor center. 40 miles to Anchorage. Another 60 to Whittier with stops at Beluga Point, Turnagain Arm, Girdwood and Wildlife Conservation Center.
