“Nice non hookup campsite, great location. ”
Nightly Rate: $31 USD
This price included the fire permit although there are no fires allowed in this area. We camped at Tunnel Mountain Village I Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
“Good location to downtown”
Nightly Rate: $42 USD

Beautiful wooded setting. We happened to be camping there for 5 of the hottest days in July. With no services, it was a bit hot! We were able to run our generators during set times in the morning and...

Tip for Other Campers:
Do not take your trailer into Banff. RV parking is down by the train station, but really not meant for trailers. Plenty to do and see, just need to realize that parking is an issue. Plenty of wildlife. Monitor forest fires in the area....

“Great park! No hook ups and only able to run generator a few hours in morning and evening.”
Nightly Rate: $41 CAD
This is a Banff National Park campground. It is huge, but so well organized. Our site was flat, took a little manuevering to get into it, but worth the effort. There is an extra $11/night firepit fee....

Tip for Other Campers:
Canmore (the next town) has a huge Safeway that is actually reasonably priced. Three Sisters is beautiful, and Lake Minnewanka has a lake cruise. The Hoodoos are a short hike from the Tunnels campground and provide a great view of downtown Banff....
