“Well kept sites”

Sites were asphalt and gravel very long and level We camped at Lost Dutchman State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Many well kept walking trails about three and a half miles asphalt for biking

Had plenty of room for our 40 5th wheel and truck to disconnect. Not all sites are iof that size. No shade. Showers clean and hot water was quick. Bathroom was closed and portable toilets set up...

Tips from campers about Lost Dutchman State Park
- USA in a Chevrolet As noted by others diesel fuel is cheaper than other areas. If you need DEF you can buy it in bulk from a pump at Essential 1 on Palmer-Wasilla Highway 4.3 miles away. Cost is $6.29 per gallon versus paying $40 for a 2 1/2 galllon jug. The Iditarod Trail Museum is close by & there is no admission fee. You can ride behind a team of sled dogs on a wheeled cart. Tip for Other Campers:
I struggled to park my nearly 34' long travel trailer (TT) into my assigned circular pull-through space (LDM-76). I was told space LDM-76 is 80' long. Combined, my tow vehicle and TT are 55' long nose to tail. So, unless the 80' is measured on the arc, I cannot see how this or any of the other similar circular pull-through spaces are 80' long.

“Southwest Trip”
Nightly Rate: $35 USD
Sites are close however the campground is designed for the lay of the land. Ranger provided inaccurate directions to our site. We camped at Lost Dutchman State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
