Nice park, all sites were taken. We visited Indian Bread Rocks Recreation Area, no overnight stay.
“Great boondocking ”
Nightly Rate: $0 USD
Very quiet boondocking spot. A little dicey getting in and out which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. The long dirt road on has and serious washboard sections. It's a tight turn once you get in to the...

Tip for Other Campers:
If you're in anything large like our 40' just take it slow. Also you may want to stop outside and walk/bike in to find a spot. The are not a lot of spots for big rigs to park or turn around. We had a drone for scouting
Tips from campers about Indian Bread Rocks Recreation Area
- agesilaus Not much in Bowie, a gas station. Shopping in Wilcox If you turn right when you get on the paved road you will get to Ft Bowie Historic site. Be sure to look at the grave stones. And further along Chiricahua NM. This route is a half the distance of the long way around thru Wilcox4 years ago Indian Bread Rocks Recreation Area

Verizon speeds were 13 Mbps download and 10 upload near the picnic area - it went down considerably depending on the cellular band used. ATT was 13/1. Verizon speeds taken with a roof mounted...

“Great place to boondock”
Nightly Rate: $0 USD
Great place to boondock, about 3 miles off the highway with easy access dirt road. Fire pits and an out house, clean as heck.. We camped at Indian Bread Rocks Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

“Starry Skies, Rock Climbing for the kids”

It's off the beaten path, but it's totally worth visiting. It was pretty hot, so we needed a generator, but it's a wonderful overnight stop. There are cows. There are rocks to climb. It's actually...

Tip for Other Campers:
There are only 2 or 3 sites here. It is VERY difficult to turn around a travel trailer here. If you're over 30-feet, you need to be really good at whipping your trailer around if you want to be able to get OUT of the campground. But if you're skilled enough, you can make it happen. )
