Tip for Other Campers:
Had breakfast at historic Gadsden Hotel. Definitely worth the visit. Very friendly visitor center in town....
“Safe parking lot to sleep in and connect / dump”
Nightly Rate: $28 USD
Its literally a parking lot with hookups next to the golf course. The sign says $20 but it is $25 plus tax. We camped at City of Douglas in a Travel Trailer.

The City of Douglas is very small, but there is a small shopping area with a Walmart, JCPenney, fast food, etc....

This is basically a large paved parking lot that backs up to the county fair grounds horse racing track, and looks out on to the golf course. They only have 30 amp electric at the sites. The showers...
