“Close to everything ”

Park your RV, walk to the bus stop, and transportation is free. Very easy to get around. Only issue is bathroom is out of order. We camped at Trailer Village RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

It was so nice to stay in the Grand Canyon park. Excellent location to see the Grand Canyon, only about 7 minute drive to visitor center. There was a bath house, but it was out of service. We had an...

Tip for Other Campers:
The grocery store is super expensive like $9.50 for a bag of chips so come stocked with food and drinks. Also, the gas station outside the park is $5.00 a gallon!! So go a little bit further down for gas and it is only $3.50. Dont make the same mistake as us!

“Loved the trees.”
Nightly Rate: $80 USD
Our spot was perfect, enough trees and not too tight with other rv's. We were in 101. We camped at Trailer Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
Go to the GC visitors center and watch the movie.
Watch your pets though. One of our Yorkies almost got nabbed by a coyote in the middle of the night. We are in their territory.

Tip for Other Campers:
Be careful of Bright Angel Trail if your not an active hiker. It was extremely difficult for me getting back up trail and I only went to first rest station supposably 1.5 miles down canyon. Longest 1.5 miles I've been.

Tip for Other Campers:
There are lots of trails to walk/hike. We rented a bike (had another with us) and road Hermit Road half way up and back but lots of areas to ride bikes. There is a Grand Canyon IMAX theater in Tusayan which is a short drive outside the south entrance. The General Store sells souvenirs, as well as pricey food/grocery store items.
