Tips from campers about Petrified Forest Gift Shop
- Some Call Me Tim I'd ask about staying in the large lot next door. The sites are pretty close together and someone fired up a loud generator and ran it the whole time he was there... until I left, anyway. In the empty lot, I could have been further away.1 year ago Petrified Forest Gift Shop
- Lisa Doyle There is no water or dump station. Get gas before you leave Holbrook (eastbound). It is 18 miles from Holbrook to the gift shop/south entrance (where there is no gas) and 28 miles from the south entrance to the north entrance. “It's a simple parking lot ”

It's a simple parking lot more or less. But it's clean and quiet n close to Petrified Forest National Park AZ We camped at Petrified Forest Gift Shop in a Motorhome.
Tip for Other Campers:
Cool gift shop with lots of rock and crystals. No cost to stay so we spent a few bucks. Got a nice piece of Petrified wood and an amonite
