Lots of Burros in the park, be careful not to speed.

Tips from campers about Lake Pleasant Regional Park
- TH travelers Sharkey Hot Springs is about 45 min south. Tie it into a scenic backways drive and make a great day of it. There is an Amish store in Baker, en route to the scenic backway. Pick up lunch there, but it is closed Sun and Thurs. The ghost town of Shoup isn't worth the drive, except for the scenery and the Firefighters Memorial on the way there. Nice area. Hiking, biking, fishing. We visited both Wickenburg and Peoria. We camped at Lake Pleasant Regional Park in a Motorhome.
