Tip for Other Campers:
Stay away from Payson if you want low traffic and less noise and congestion. Pine is a great place to go, best Pizza in Arizona at Old County Inn. Lots of Elk in the immediate areas.

Tips from campers about Payson Campground & RV Resort
- Bethany_455 Currently, the bridge is out over I-80 so if you are westbound check the park website for an appropriate detour. There is a gas station right off the interstate before the park entrance that offers some bait and fishing licenses. This about 30 min from the Henry Doorly Zoo and downtown Omaha.8 months ago Arrowhead Park

Very close to amenities in town. We tried Krispy Crunchy Chicken in town (76 marketplace) and were pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was! Great to take on a picnic.
