Tip for Other Campers:
Springerville has little to offer: a few small museums, shopping limited to a Safeway and Ace hardware. I do not often review local restaurants, but will make an exception for Avery's BBQ on Hwy 191 north of town. This is an exceptional restaurant of a kind that really can't be duplicated easily. Go there - the food is amazing.

Oldest movie theater in AZ, great fishing within 20 minutes or farther if you want too, they have a fabulous general store could spend hours there, if your looking for something it is only 10 minutes from the park
