I stayed 1 night but felt welcomed by all. I am considering coming back next year for an extended stay. Wide open spaces can see the mountains. We camped at Copper Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Just off the 10 and very convenient We camped at Copper Mountain RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Tip for Other Campers:
No restaurants
Just a convenience store at the gas station

The park was very clean and well kept. We stayed one night and used the pool. Do wish they had a hot tub after a long day of driving and setting up camp. The pull through sites were gravel but level!...
