Tip for Other Campers:
They play revile, colors and taps on the loud speakers. There is not much on base, you have to go into ft Smith, but it has all the big box stores there.

- Heather_860 Eat at the Hawks Nest State Park Lodge restaurant. The view of the river. Train bridge, train tracks and large groups of hawks soaring across the valley make for a relaxing meal and the food is good with very generous portions. Friday before Christmas, there is no one on the base. We are at site number 7 and it's peaceful. No one here We visited Fort Chaffee RV Park, no overnight stay.

Gravel Rd past the PX.
