Mountain View 35 minutes away on curvy hilly road. Fun town for Ozark Folk Center and music in park. Fairfield Bay nearby.

- Radical Retirees The campground is walking distance to Winterset town center. A small town but with a few shops and restaurants. The people were all very friendly and we enjoyed ourselves here. Tip for Other Campers:
Not really a lot to do for kids. Fairfield Bay had Mexican restaurant, and the bowling alley had good food too. Pool is what you would have at home, above the ground. Again come in on THE NEW ROAD!!!!

Fairfield Bay Marina is about 15min down the road if youre looking for day activities on the water or to just watch a beautiful sunset.
