“Okay but not great”
Nightly Rate: $57 USD
This park was adequate for our 4 night stay in the area. There aren't many amenities here (laundry room that looked so bad I wouldn't use it and a store that really didn't have much of anything)....

This is a great place to explore Yoho and Glacier National Parks from. We visited the Skybridge while in Golden. It is very close to the campground. The dowtown area has shops, restaurants and bars. Not a lot of public parking. During the day hours limited to two hours in the area where we were. Great bookstore with a little caf upstairs and a patio out back. Tip for Other Campers:
Great for visiting Glacier and Yoho National Parks. Golden has a nice riverwalk with hike and bike path. Also, restaurants, shops, groceries, etc. Available in Golden.
“Not safe, not clean, gross and scary”
Nightly Rate: $63 USD
No handrails on stairs to gross bathrooms by our tents.
Dangerous and filthy. We camped at Whispering Spruce Campground in a Travel Trailer.
