Cute little downtown area. Try el Jacalito Mexican restaurant. Dank Donuts- delish- with vegan and GF options. Community Church of Big Bear for church goers- very sweet. Copper Q downtown for coffee and yummy baked goods.

- RV-Roamer Only about an hour from St Louis. Park is huge, over 2000 acres, plenty of unspoiled area & hiking trails. Walmart only 10 minutes away...yay!!6 years ago St Francois State Park

Getting there was a challenge for a big rig. Several guests came up to our site to ask how we got our 45 ft 5th wheel up the mountain. We never used our truck for transportation once we arrived. We rode our bikes everywhere. It's only 5 miles to the south shore with all the grocery, bars, restaurants, and gift shops.
