Within 5 miles down the road you will find dining areas, Stater Brothers, Walmart, and much more.
The wife and I went to see a movie, and the place felt very secure to leave our trailer unmanned.
Tips from campers about Cherry Valley Lakes RV Campground
- rvarn The McDonald's museum is a place to see. It is the "unofficial" one but on the site of the first McDonald's. The docent was very knowledgeable of the history and the place was filled with memorabilia. Lot of the pieces were used in the movie The Founder staring Micheal Keaton. I think they had every toys ever given out. The other place not to miss is the Mitla Cafe. Great Mexican food and the home of the taco that turned into Taco Bell (a history you'll want to read up on). The cafe is open from Wed-Sun. Ice cream was great. The pool area and ponds are nice as weel.
