We came during spring break, not knowing. There were tons of children who were having a blast. However, the children were all over the streets, weaving in and out, some not wearing helmets which worried us. Petco Park and the Padres game was great!

Tips from campers about Sun Outdoor San Diego Bay
- NICHOLAS_442 We definitely recommend LeMays pizza, about 2 miles down the road. It was delicious pizza and an easy two mile bike ride. There are many other restaurants within close proximity as well. Short drive to Disney (about 30 minutes).10 months ago Johnston Springs RV Campground & Storage
- JShocker If pulling your rig, Avoid Pleasant Hill and Kissimmee during rush 'hour'.
- Craig_Kim_&_Jake Heavy traffic highway. You can walk across the street (via traffic lights) for shopping and dining.

Tip for Other Campers:
Easy bike ride to beach and Coronado Island. Transit system a short walk from RV park provides say access to all areas of San Diego and to the border crossing to Tijuana. Go to Beyer Deli for a great hot sandwich! The deli owners and food are wonderful.
Zoo and Safari park were great. Sea World was not worth price of admission and parking.

Tip for Other Campers:
The Bayshore Bike Path is right outside the gate and you can ride your bike all the way to Coronado Island. We even took our bikes on the ferry across to downtown and finished the 24 mile loop back at the campground. This same path can take you to Imperial Beach with its cute coffee shops, breweries, etc.The Trolley to downtown is an easy walk from...

“Best RV RESORT in Southern CALI!!!!”

This is a true RV resort. Great Cafe and Bar, beautiful heated pool, and a great Gym. Fun activities all week long. This was the perfect winter getaway from the freeze in TX. Can not wait to go back....
