- Happy_Trails_ and _Tales Sand dunes! We rented a Honda 1000 side by side at a local rental shop "Stewart's". You could drive it back to the camp site so no need to tow or have it delivered to you. Warning, it's not cheap to rent one of those things $800 for 13 hours. Having never rode in sand dunes it was well worth it. OMG we had a blast.2 years ago Little Sahara State Park
