  M&C2camp Campgrounds are very close to the town of Guerneville. 5 minute drive. A few places to eat, bars, shops, and small stores. If you have kids Id recommend driving to the other side of the river across from the campgrounds wheres there is a beach. This would be safer than the access from the campgrounds.

  OHCal1988 Armstrong Woods is very close by. It is a State Park that has no entry fee but $10 for parking. All the trails are very easy and are spectacular. Wine tasting may require reservations, The town of Healdsburg is a posh, cute town to visit to see California dream wine country life the plaza has a more upscale assortment of shops and restaurants than Guernville.
