Tips from campers about Shadow Hills RV Resort
- DavHas This is a fishing and hunting town. Some air boat noise at times. Several restaurants and local bars. Dollar General 5 min away. Couple nice gas stations, rv friendly. There's a rv and large boat wash drive through.3 months ago R&R RV Resort & Casitas
- Bookoo Mary's for shrimp. Sharkies for boils and hamburgers. Bubbas for Oysters and Entoufe.3 years ago R&R RV Resort & Casitas
- MattShan Close to the beach (King Fisher Beach) and pier in Port OConnor. Sand was very fine, lots of shells, and it was deserted. Water was surprisingly clear. Our 4 year old, and dog had an amazing time running free on 1000+ yards of deserted beach. Only 1 gas station in town, but it was brand new, and had good prices. A few bait shops, and of course a Dollar General. Port Lavaca is about 25 minutes away with an HEB (smaller) and a Wal-Mart (smaller). Was able to find a barber for both myself and my 4 y/o boy. Didnt eat at any of the restaurants (yet). I will update3 years ago R&R RV Resort & Casitas

“Tough backin for a 33 foot 5th wheel ”
Nightly Rate: $97 USD
No pull thru sites, narrow streets making 90 degree backings difficult. Poor site landscape maintenance. Marginal value for the price. We camped at Shadow Hills RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
We were able to ride bicycles from the campground, albeit using bike lanes on roads. There is very little traffic on the roads outside of town.

Park is decent enough, but did not get the type of spot I reserved. We camped at Shadow Hills RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
