“$2 senior discount for both in and out of state for those over $62, but $8.25 transaction fee. ”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
Beautiful location, full hookups, large level concrete pad. Ideal place if you want conveniences of town and nearby attractions. Brown butter cookie company is close and the Baja Tacos (fried cod)...

Tip for Other Campers:
Take a drive up the 1, see the Hearst Castle, the town of Harmony, schedule a light house tour at Piedro Blanco, and see the elephant seals. You can also find harbor seals in town. And yes, relax in the beach.
“Large sites, Ocean steps away”
Nightly Rate: $17 USD
The advantages of this campground are the large sites and the fact that it is steps from the ocean. It is also close to the beautiful town of Morro Bay and a fantastic location to tour the Central...

Tip for Other Campers:
There is so much to do in this area: San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Cambria, Hearst Castle, Ragged Point, Sealion Sanctuary, kayaking on Morro Bay, Morro Rock, and surfing. In Morro Bay, I recommend Bayside Cafe for lunch and dinner. It is pretty popular, so go off times. House of JuJu is a favorite. Mi Casa is a lovely, small Mexican place. Tognazzini's...

- Richard Taube Pensacola Naval Air Museum is nearby (20-30 minutes drive) and very much worth the visit. Take the free 1 hr. 45 minute tour as it so informative that I would have liked it to last longer (you would be lucky to get Tyrone Lewis as your guide). I spent a total of 5 hours there, but I may be a bit more of an enthusiast. I wasn't sure what to expect about the limited parking, but I got there 20 minutes before they opened at 9 am and there was only one other car in the lot. It was about 90% full when I left. It was a Friday in March and the Blue Angels were not in town so perhaps a bit offseason.2 weeks ago Buena Vista Motor Coach Resort
- AJShelton Amberjack EBike Rentals are great! Highly recommend. Also best seafood in our opinion is Bubbas, just down the street. Pensacola is 40-45 minutes away with lots to see and do too. Plus Gulf Shores Public Beach Parking is free only in December/January/February. Otherwise public beach parking is $10-$15/day.1 month ago Buena Vista Motor Coach Resort
- TheMonteros ***Entrance to resort is not marked from main road** Do the bike trail - so scenic. Eat at Woodside Restaurant (off the bike trail), The Gulf (right at the Perdido Pass) - best fish tacos, drinks at FloraBama Visit Fairhope Kayak the Lakes at Shelby2 months ago Buena Vista Motor Coach Resort

“On the Ocean. Easy access. Great place for kids.”

Long and narrow CG. No fires on the hookups but none hookups have fire pits. Hookups are very tight. Fortunately we had just couples on both sides. But just down were kids, having fun, being kids....

“Good but could be better ”
Nightly Rate: $47 USD
Has a lot of potential, need to do a better job of grounds up keeping. Hookup sites close together. Would be nice to have a fence between each site for privacy. We camped at Morro Strand State Beach...

“Mostly unsupervised”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
The ocean is about 100 yards away and a nice beach. Most of the sites are nose to tail parallel parking. The full hookup sites are angled back-ins along the back. They are very close together and...

Tip for Other Campers:
There is a bike trail that can take you all the way into Morro bay, but it's not plainly marked - you can find a map online. It's 4 miles one way but you avoid the traffic/parking in the town.
