- Gerald98053 Santa Cruz beach is 5 miles, University is 5 miles, many good restaurants in Santa Cruz and Capitola, mostly 7 miles. Nearby hardware store (Scarborough) has some RV items. Two large grocery stores nearby with extended hours. A couple of underused parks and trails are very close by. Try the Lodato Open Space Preserve, if you can find it. The trailhead is hidden behind an industrial park. Quite a lot of forest land was devastated by a fire in 2020 within about 3 miles of the campground but the forest is making a steady return to life. The Costco in Santa Cruz has the best gas prices.3 years ago Santa Cruz Ranch RV Resort
