Tip for Other Campers:
Bike, hike, or run on the Bizz Johnson Rail Trail! It's just 7 miles away and it's a lovely spot to spend the day. Also Susanville Ranch is terrific too!

- Mark Elliott This is a remote area, but there is a nice Dollar General within 5 miles. Because this is remote, it is a super quiet pleasant place with beautiful scenery. Local Joe's restauant is just north of the Dollar General. This is a really neat restaurant. They do allow golf carts and even rent them by the day or week. This may be a problem during some times of the year because there were unsupervised kids driving these at times.1 month ago Greensport RV Park

We started at a nearby RV park which was very run down. The manager was very nice, but it wasn't suitable so we went to Susanville RV Resort. They were wonderful, clean, safe, and efficient.

Tip for Other Campers:
Ride the Bizz Johnson trail. It is just 2 miles to the trailhead at the depot. It is not a paved trail so have wide tires. In summer, there is a shuttle to ride to Westwood with your bike and ride down the 24.5 mile trail. We ate at the Lumberjack. Friendly service and clean.

We stayed in a pull through. It was concrete, nice and level, the water pressure was great. We camped at Susanville RV Resort in a Motorhome.
