“Nice quiet spot to breakup a 4 day drive. ”

Interesting area, worth staying & exploring during a warmer month. We camped at Eagle's Nest RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Tip for Other Campers:
Be sure to have leveling blocks, grass site we chose was not very level. Winter WX so H20 @ site was off. We carried plenty of H20 for dry camping.

Our timing was a little off but we did enjoy the lava beds.
Tips from campers about Eagle's Nest RV Park
- Ruger58 Shopping complex about a mile north of the park has Fry's Grocery & Gas, bank, hardware store, nail salon, Barro's Pizza & Anaya's Mexican restaurants plus a couple fast food places.4 years ago Casa Grande RV Resort and Cottages
- TekManiac This park has a great location. Three grocery stores are within a mile of here. There is a Home Depot, Lowes, and a Harbor Freight just outside the gate area. The people in the area are very friendly and we enjoyed our time here very much.6 years ago Casa Grande RV Resort and Cottages
- jimnsandy When I asked the person at the registration desk what there was to do in Casa Grande, she said "Indian ruins and Walmart". I'm not kidding. The story of Captain Jack and the only assasination of a general officer is interesting. The site is marked and has a storyboard.
Don't follow GPS! Go to their website for directions or just follow the 97 in until you see the sign, turn left and go to the end of the road.This is a great little spot in the middle of nowhere....
