Tip for Other Campers:
There's a dirt road between the CG and the boat launch that leads to a summit with great views of Shasta. Weed is a fun town to explore.

A blm campground - i.e. Beautiful surroundings, sparse amenities, and free during the summer months. Camped in a 40' class A with toad down by the lake. There are sites back in the trees, but not...

Tip for Other Campers:
Don't trust your GPS to get you to the campground - out of Weed, follow 97 to Big Spring Rd, turn left. Go to Jackson Ranch Rd, turn left. Go to Dwinnell Road, turn right. This will take you right into the campground. Stock up with food, water and empty your tanks before heading out - the closest supplies are in Weed CA.
