“Boondocking at its best ”
Nightly Rate: $0 USD
Well maintained, lots of great neighbors, all the dusk you can eat. We camped at Imperial Dam LTVA in a Fifth Wheel.
Tip for Other Campers:
Visit every nook and cranny. Great stuff! Park east to west. Get a UPS P.O box in Yuma if you are staying long term to ensure mail delivery.

This is a BLM LTVA (long term visitor area) $180 for 6 month permit that provides access to water, dump station, trash disposal. You can buy a 2 week pass for $40 that can be extended. Note that the...

Tips from campers about Imperial Dam LTVA
- Riley & AJ Check out their website: www.pelicanlake.com. They have a full section on things to do in the area... and there are unbelievable things to do here! Nestled between Marco Island to the south and Naples to the north, it's got everything. Restaurants, shopping, beaches, fishing, biking, hiking, golf and more. Everything is just 5 minutes away... grocery stores, restaurants, hardware, Walmart, banking, diesel... it's all within a 5 minute ride. Wonderful dog park 10 minutes away on Marco Island or venture a little farther to take the pooch to the beach in Bonita!5 years ago Pelican Lake Motorcoach Resort
- Apaymer We went to Marco Island for dinner on two different nights. Unfortunately, we didn't bring a towed car with us so we had to use a car service to get to the island. Uber service in this area is TERRIBLE! You have to make a reservation hours before you plan on going anywhere. Once we got onto the island we were unable to get an Uber back so we scrambled to find a local car service for the return trip. That being said, head to the JW Marriott and enjoy the views and amazing food (we had sushi on the lobby floor). Upstairs there is a great bar that is inside and outside with fantastic views. The next night we went to the Snook Inn. Good food, fair prices but be prepared to wait for your table.4 years ago Pelican Lake Motorcoach Resort
- RHP1954 Beautiful beaches on Marco Island and Naples. Take an Airboat ride through the mango trees. Ride your bike in Skull Valley and see lots of alliigators.1 month ago Pelican Lake Motorcoach Resort

“Boondocker paradise”
Nightly Rate: $2 USD
We spend 3-4 months a year at this location and love it. Your rig must be boondock-ready as only one multilane water and dump station exists. The Christian center manages the post office and will...

“Plenty of options”
Nightly Rate: $0 USD
Stayed here for a couple of days on our way through AZ. Need a permit, but $40 for 2 weeks is cheap and we had plenty of options to choose for parking. We camped at Imperial Dam LTVA in a Motorhome.
Tip for Other Campers:
Scout before you drive a big rig as many gravel roads turn impassable quickly
