“It's a place to park. ”
Nightly Rate: $28 USD
It was an ok place to park the rv while we were visiting Durango. Water and sewer only. Water is shared between every other site via a splitter. Six sites parked side by side with the other RVs. Felt...

The drive to ouray on the million dollar highway is really nice.
“Spacious and close to town but only a few sites”
Nightly Rate: $28 USD
If you're looking to be close to town, this is the best you're going to do. It's basically just a large gravel lot with electric and water hookups. The price and location made it worth it for us....

Tips from campers about La Plata County Fairgrounds
- Tomzahu We followed our GPS and it took us to an intersecting road (240th street) and route 1 and it was gravel and made a real mess of our clean Truck and RV. So look for the paved road as soon as you come across the bridge outside of town. Campground had a really nice playground, and we were able to get fuel right in town. We tried Mistys Malt shop and food was good ice cream was really good.5 months ago Lacey-Keosauqua State Park Campground
- Smith1812 Get ice cream at the little shop near the end of the bridge. Good value, good ice cream. Good sandwiches as well.7 months ago Lacey-Keosauqua State Park Campground
- crussin Definitely check out River Bend Pizza the crab Rangoon pizza is to die for!3 years ago Lacey-Keosauqua State Park Campground

“Location, Location, Location”
Nightly Rate: $28 USD
It is all about the location! The campground itself is about what you would expect for a fairground. Just a back in with power. Water available to every 2 sites. You are not suppose to hook up water...

Tip for Other Campers:
11th street station is a nice place for lunch/dinner downtown. Group of food trucks with nice outdoor space to sit and enjoy. Had live music when we visited.
“Great for a couple of nights”
Nightly Rate: $28 USD
Great place to stay for a couple of nights. No dump on site very dusty and very busy with the maintenance shop behind the campground. They work back there until about 9 oclock every night. Cheapest...

Lots to do in town. The train ride to Silverton was wonderful and the drive to Ouray was amazing. The rec center next-door has showers for six dollars a day.

“Very basic”
Nightly Rate: $18 USD
This is a typical fairground park. The RV spots back up to a busy work area so running your fan or air conditioning is advised. Also be sure to use a water pressure restricted. This is some serious...

Tip for Other Campers:
Ate at 636 Main for a special dinner. Very good with generous servings.
You can access the beautiful Animas River Trail from playground area of fairgrounds.
Ride the train to Silverton, we'll worth the price.
