“Very nice owners and clean grounds”

Tip for Other Campers:
One Hundred Gold Mine tour a must. Our tour guide is an actual miner for over 25 years and traveling the world. Million Dollar Highway was at times scary but the views are worth it. Ate at Avalanche Brewing Co. And was very good. The San Juan Historical Society-Self guided tour was very interesting. You have to visit Gerties Gifts for the homemade fudge....

Tip for Other Campers:
Rent a jeep (from the campground) and drive up to Amenas Forks ghost town. Fun drive up a crazy road and the old mining town was cool to explore

Lots of nice shops in town. Elevated Coffee Shop located in the Grand Imperial Hotel has the best coffee, breakfast sandwiches, chicken salad sandwich, and Blue Bell ice cream.
