- Guy_10 Hanafords grocery store few miles up the road was spectacular. Steamed or live lobster for $10/pd was delicious!7 months ago Bangor / Holden KOA
- LRWCO It's about and hour to Bar Harbor. The only crowds in Bar Harbor were from two cruise ships that docked for an excursion. We also visited Castine and there were hardly any tourists. ANP was a little busy. We got a reservation to drive up Cadillac Mountain.1 year ago Bangor / Holden KOA
- RVL499996 Orono Bog Boardwalk Cascade Park Bangor Farmers Market Stephen Kings House Acadia National Park - Jordan Pond, Cadillac Mountain Bar Harbor - Schooner Cruise.... Avoid the Trolley Tour. Have stayed many times,always a great experience. Mostly level lots, some shaded lots. Nice camp store always some one there. We camped at Mystic KOA Holiday in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Some very nice restaurant choices all an easy drive. Gotta try Mystic Pizza! Less than 5 minutes off Rt95, but youd never know. A quiet clean location....

Tip for Other Campers:
Mystic Seaport and the aquarium are about 15 minutes away. If you're looking for something different, drive the hour or so to Newport, RI for the cliff walk. The views are excellent....
