Tips from campers about Witch Meadow Lake Family Campground
- CAROL_198 Salem valley ice cream is a couple miles down the road off Rt 11 Lots of good restaurants near buy.Harrys place in Salem and Davids place in Colchester have really good food. Also there is a dinosaur museum and gem place near by. Rt 11 runs into RT 2 if your heading toward Hartford. Rt 11 ends in Salem. walmart is not that far in Norwich or you can make a run to home depot target lowes etc if you head toward New London. Must see is Devils Hopyard and Gillettes Castle nice walking/hiking state parks along the Connecticut river.
