Tips from campers about Timberlane RV Park & Resort
- RAJ Timberlane does charge for electricity at 14 cents per KWH. They are moving to a 3-month minimum stay for January-February-March in 2023. Unlike other places, Lisa allows you to pick your site and does not charge a fee. Yes, the staff does back you in but will step aside and just be an extra set of eyes if you ask. They explained that they had multiple people early on who assured them they always used a spotter but backed over pedestals and water and caused a lot of damage so now the staff is present for all arrivals. If they try to help you unhitch, just ask them to please not do that unless you want the assistance. The spots are level unless you are long and then you may need a block or two under the front tires of a motorhome. (The spots are sloped a bit towards the road for drainage.) The grass was a welcome change from the 90% sand spots we usually see in Florida. Canopies and dog pens are allowed. We never saw or heard of Bufo (Cane) Toads in the area but we did in the Naples area. (Those toads are rapidly fatal to dogs, like 20 minutes from contact to dead.) There is a very nice county off-leash dog park about 10 minutes away, Creekwood (Paw Patch). It is multiple acres, separate large dog and small dog areas, has a pavilion, water for the dogs, and is not mostly sandy, unlike others in the area.3 years ago Timberlane RV Park & Resort
- Craig Fair Many stores (Costco & Walmart) very close by. Also, many restaurants in the area. Very convenient access to I75.2 years ago Timberlane RV Park & Resort
- Shalako Traffic is the pits between 7-9, & 4-7. To many places to list here, though one does stand out.Codys, on Rt 41 just south of 5th Ave.3 years ago Timberlane RV Park & Resort
