Noonan Lake is big so you can bring a boat. The boat ramp is about a mile away. The Hawthorne Bike Trail goes right by campground. Bring food and supplies with you.

Bring your bike and your hiking shoes as you can access the Gainesville-Hawthorne trail from the campground by taking the path under the bridge that goes over the creek.
