“Beautiful park”
Nightly Rate: $20 USD
The site was spacious with trees and bushes separating the sites. Site was level. Easy access to bathrooms and showers from all sites. Looks like new washer and dryer in Loop 2. Lots of hiking path....

Tip for Other Campers:
If you follow the posted 15mph speed limit it takes 20 minutes or so to drive in from the front gate/Ranger's station to the campground. Pick up supplies as you drive through Lake Wales (there is a Walmart) before driving to the park. Verizon service is barely useful anywhere in the campground with LTE but one can get 5G from the top of the observation...

Nice campground near Lake Wales, FL. We camped in site 17 with a 27 ft travel trailer in a site with a 30 Amp hook up and water. No sewer hookup and about 100 yards to haul the waste tote to the dump...

Tip for Other Campers:
Shopping is about 15 miles away in Lake Wales. All needed supplies are available there. As mentioned previously, the Bok Tower is a must see. There are several trails for hiking or biking (some are sandy and others have lots of roots leading to a bumpy ride for biking)....
