“Campground has all the amenities of a basic resort.”

Sites were tight and some not terribly attractive. Mostly seasonal campers. We camped at Upriver RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
To get from N. Ft Myers to Ft Myers and points south the traffic is a nightmare. Unsynchronized lights leaving you to wait 3 cycles to get to the next one a few blocks away. Colonial Blvd at I-75 is particularly challenging as they undergo a 5 year project to make it work. Maybe. Ft Myers beach suffers from "Red Tide," so the beaches were littered with dead...

Tip for Other Campers:
As others have said, try Hogbody's Bar and Grill located right next to the resort. We enjoyed our dinner even with the wait to get a table. It is a busy local eatery.We took a day to go to Ft. Myers Beach. Parts of the area are still trying to recover from the latest storms but it is alive and well. Parking pretty much everywhere is $20 for the day....
