“Well maintained park right on the Okeechobee canal”

Small but very nice gated park that is very well maintained. Paved streets and back in sites. A few long term but everyone was very friendly. Club house is nice, pool look nice but was too cold to use...

Tip for Other Campers:
Went to a local flea market but that was closing down. Another just down the street. Usual Walmart, Public, etc in Okeechobee. There was a Beale's that my wife loves. Didn't really find any good places to eat. We biked in the park, it's a short loop. We also drove down a couple of miles to get on the berm for Lake Okeechobee and spoke briefly to the guy...

Wow! Huge paved spaces with low hedges between them. Paved streets with no potholes. Nice little dog run & plenty of grass. Ask for a site away from the highway.(Lots of trucks maybe 50 from the end...

First time camping. The owners took care of my hook up and showed me everything. Nice people to hang with. We camped at Water's Edge Motor Coach & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

“Easy to get to from highway. Very clean and well maintained. ”
Nightly Rate: $85 USD
We had a FHU 50 Amp site. Some sites are back in and some are drive in. All sites have pavers so easy to level. The sites are large with lots of trees and vegetation. Would definitely stay here again...

We went to Lake Placid and looked at the 60 Murals painted on the Commercial Buildings. Worth the drive. The Lightsey Fish Restaurant was very good.
