Tips from campers about Moss Park
- The Browns with Sheep The Granite cafe is the most amazing for breakfast and lunch and the Intersection restaurant is the best for dinner. The Dollar store is not your typical dollar store, it has everything you could possibly need. It was like a smaller version of Wal-Mart. The little stores along the main street have some of the greatest surprises in them. I recommend spending an afternoon and walking through them. Also the library is also a great place to take the family. My kids had so much fun.8 years ago Zim's Hot Springs
- Big Murr Lots of attractions in or near McCall about 30 minutes away - Brundage ski resort (also has summer chair lift rides and mountain biking), Payette Lake, shopping and more.8 years ago Zim's Hot Springs
- Boisenorthender Soak at pools.8 years ago Zim's Hot Springs

Tip for Other Campers:
Publix and restaurants a few miles away on Narcoossee Road. We took a day trip to Kennedy Space Center, about 1 hour drive east. Wonderful experience plus got to see a SpaceX Falcon 9 launch while at the center.
“Absolutely NO pets even indoor-only.”
Nightly Rate: $23 USD
Unfortunately, we were not allowed to stay at this park because we had indoor-only pets. They were willing to make a one-night exception, but we decided to find another campground as we weren't...

NO PETS ALLOWED (INDOOR & OUTDOOR). This means indoor-only pets (dogs, fish, birds, or other inside-only animals) are not allowed. The park is extremely strict and will not let you in, no matter what.

Question:
Are you able to book a site online, or only by calling the park? I thought I'd seen an online reservation page (or at least one that showed availability by date) but I now don't see that, and only see "To make a reservation, please call the park directly at 407-254-6840; leave a detailed message if you reach voicemail"...

“One of my favorite campgrounds”
Nightly Rate: $23 USD
This campground is so well priced for what it offers. There are extensive hiking trails in the Split Oak Forest nearby, and there is fishing and beautiful scenery. Each site has water and 30/50...

No pets are allowed in this campground. Florida Trail goes thru this park and you can enter it on the northwest side of the campground loop. It will take you to the Split Oak Forest preserve.
