This is one of our favorite campgrounds in Idaho. It is located on Redfish Lake and has incredible views of the lake and Sawtooth Mountains. Because of its location and "first come, first serve'...

Go check out the Redfish Lake Lodge. They have live music on Wednesday, Friday, and Sundays. Beautiful views. Take a kayak out on a Little Redfish Lake. The town of Stanley is charming and you have to make a stop there. We ended up going often in order to check in with our family and get cell service. Just one little grocery store but they have everything...

The town of Stanley is charming and you have to make a stop there. We ended up going often in order to check in with our family and get cell service. Just one little grocery store but they have everything you need. For such a little town, they have amazing food! Check out Sawtooth Baking Company. AMAZING food and baked goods! Great fishing in the area! Try Yankee fork of the Salmon River, dredge pond number 4. Hit some rainbow trout there. We also did a tour of the Salmon River/sawtooth fish hatchery. Very educational and fun!2 years ago Sockeye at Redfish Lake
- ElliottM There are numerous trails in the area, including some that follow the shoreline, so get out and enjoy nature. There's also a dog-friendly beach on the lake.2 years ago Sockeye at Redfish Lake

“Nice campground right along Redfish Lake”
Nightly Rate: $22 USD
We were here in the off-season (1st week of October), and this was the only campground by the lake still open. With the weather still decent, the sites were in demand, and we had to spend one night at...

During our 2 month RV trip in Idaho & Colorado this Fall, SOCKEYE was one of our FAVE campgrounds! It offers EVERYTHING we personally look for to park our 20' camper and explore the area: Trees, a...

The park was wonderful. We were able to walk down to the lake and let the kids play. The camp host was so friendly and we loved talking to him. We went horseback riding while we were there. This was a...

Tip for Other Campers:
Avoid eating at the lodge. The food was ok, but way over priced and the service was terrible! Stick to the M&Ms and beef jerky next door at the gift shop!
