“Camp on the Salmon River”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
This is one of our favorite campgrounds. It's located on the banks of the Salmon River, just beautiful, very well maintained. We camped at Swiftwater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Tip for Other Campers:
Takes a tight turn to get in. Use the diamond to make the turn.

Nightly Rate: $55 USD
We could see the River and walk down to enjoy our coffee. Small park with nice rest rooms and super friendly owners and camp hosts. We camped at Swiftwater RV Park in a Motorhome.
Tip for Other Campers:
Call Kilgore Adventures and take the jet boat up and down the Snake River. Not cheap but worth every penny!!!

- Cloudwlkr The town of Alma is only about 3 minutes away. Kelly's Bakery sticky buns are excellent. We took a day to drive to Point Wolf and area. Hiked Dickson Falls, another day to drive up to Sussex and look at the covered bridges. The cover bridge on the way down to the park is 7 km of very narrow, rough, gravel road if you are going to do it. Another day we did the drive to Hopewell Rocks and area. - JArbuckle Be sure to have a lobster roll at the Alma Lobster Shop and get a beer at the Holy Whale Brewery. If you have time take the trip to Hopewell Rocks at low tide.7 months ago Headquarters Campground

Second time staying here, first time was 8 years ago and its still as nice as we remembered. Friendly, quiet and right on river. We camped at Swiftwater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
